Spring in Romania

Spring is one of the four seasons of the temperate zone, marking the transition from winter to summer. From the astronomical point of view, the marking of the beginning of spring is often related to the equivalence between the time of day and night, the time of the year called equinox in astronomy. Thus, in the northern hemisphere, spring equinox is astronomically dated around March 21 of each year, while in the southern hemisphere, the same equinox is around 23 September. Simultaneously with the existence of an equinox in one of the two hemispheres of the Earth, the "opposite" equinox marks the other hemisphere.

Similarly, the end of the spring and the beginning of the astronomical summer is considered to be around the day when the day becomes maximum and the minimum night, the year of the year called the summer solstice. Thus, in the northern hemisphere, the summer solstice is dated around June 21, and in the southern hemisphere, the same solstice is temporally placed around December 21st. Similar to the "antinomy" of equinoxes at the beginning of spring, simultaneously with the existence of a solstice in one of the two hemispheres of the Earth, the "opposite" equinox marks the other hemisphere.

In fact, due to the specific geographic and climatic conditions of different places belonging to temperate areas, there are many criteria that must be considered to mark the spring season. These specific differentiations have deeply marked the lives of people in different areas of the planet from an agricultural, existential, philosophical and cultural point of view. Always, the spring and its conceptual, philosophical and ideological equivalent meant thawing, melting, awakening to life, renewing and reviving nature, life, and society.

It's still cold, it's going to get warm soon, we expect nature to go for a walk.
